It begins with time—time to observe, to listen deeply, and to understand what is truly needed. Every project emerges through a process of observation, interpretation, and refinement, where context, human needs, and spatial potential are carefully interpreted before any formal decision is made.
The intention is not only to solve a problem, but to reveal a deeper understanding of spatial and human needs. Each decision contributes to spaces that are purposeful, coherent, and sustainable.
Over time, experience becomes an active force within the process, continuously strengthening design intuition and the quality of the outcome.
Design Perspective
Each project is approached as a shifting system of conditions—context, use, culture, and time.
Moving between residential, hospitality, commercial, and yacht design projects allows ideas and spatial principles to be tested across different environments. This constant transition strengthens adaptability and deepens understanding of how space is experienced across different contexts and ways of living.
There is a continuous engagement with research, observation, and evolving spatial practices, as well as materials and technologies that redefine contemporary design approaches.
Within every project, constraints are not limitations but frameworks that guide thinking and responding to each context with precision, sensitivity, and coherence.
Regardless of scale or conditions, the focus remains the same: to move beyond problem-solving toward solutions that respond to deeper spatial and human needs.
Design Process
Each project is developed through a structured and intuitive methodology, refined through years of practice and experience.
The process spans concept development through detailed design, ensuring continuity and clarity across all stages. Design is treated as a continuous progression where concept, materiality, geometry, and lighting design remain in constant dialogue.
Equal attention is given to both creative direction and technical precision, with a focus on achieving coherence between intention and final result.
Collaboration is an essential part of the process. Clients, consultants, and project partners are integrated into a carefully guided workflow that supports clarity in communication and alignment in decisions.
The goal is not only the delivery of the design, but the creation of refined and intentional environments where every decision contributes to a unified spatial experience.
Bio
Evrykleia is an Interior Architect and Lighting Designer based in Athens, Greece, whose work extends across Europe. She holds a BA in Interior Architecture (2009) and an MA in Lighting Design (2015).
Since 2017, she has been leading her own studio, following earlier professional experience as co-founder of be about (2009–2016). From the outset, she has applied a process that integrates spatial concept, materiality, and architectural lighting into a unified design approach.
Driven by a relentless commitment to growth and excellence, Evrykleia continuously embraces the latest technologies, innovative materials, and advanced techniques. Through participation in specialized workshops, professional training programs, and industry events across Europe, Evrykleia cultivates a disciplined and holistic approach that is reflected in every aspect of practice.
At the heart of her studio lies a dedication to crafting meaningful experiences, resulting in work that reflects the highest standards of quality and refinement.
